Carla Mitchell, my mother, was a great mom, a loving friend, the backbone of our family, and a blessing to everyone she came across. She was always a bundle of joy, loving to dance and party, but also humble and always willing to help anyone in need. She opened up her home to help those who needed it and always put others before herself. Her spirit brought light and happiness wherever she went, and she made sure everyone around her felt loved and cared for.

She was so very loved by so many family members and friends, leaving everyone who knew her in disbelief and hurt. She truly didn’t deserve this, and her loss has left a huge hole in all of our lives. The outpouring of love and support from those who knew her shows just how special she was to everyone around her.

Recently, we lost her unexpectedly. My mom didn’t have insurance, and now my family and I are facing the difficult task of arranging a viewing and cremation for her. The costs are overwhelming, and we want to honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves. The funds raised will go directly to the funeral home to cover these expenses, and if possible, help support her children and cover travel costs for family members who want to say goodbye.
