I am starting this fundraiser for my family and me as we grieve the sudden loss of our mother. Just a few short weeks ago, she learned that she had cancer and was preparing to begin treatment while also doing physical therapy to try to regain some independence. We truly did not know that we would lose her so soon. In one of her last conversations with her son, she shared her final wishes: she wanted to be cremated and brought back to Colorado so her ashes could be spread in the mountains she loved so much. Our family is heartbroken, and we are trying to process this loss while also facing the painful reality of final preparation costs.

We are asking for help to cover cremation expenses and the cost of bringing our mother back to Colorado so we can honor the wishes she shared before she passed. Your support would help us give her this final gift and keep us from having to surrender her body to the city because we cannot afford these arrangements on our own.
