My brother and I watched our entire world change on Saturday, January 17th, when our mother, Carolyn Stevens, began her journey to heaven.

Carolyn wasn’t just our mom—she was the kind of person who made other people feel seen, cared for, and supported. She helped everyone she could, and she did it quietly, without expecting anything in return. If you ever met her, worked with her, or were loved by her, you already know how much warmth she brought into a room.

Right now, we’re trying to honor her the way she deserves. But the truth is, funeral and memorial costs add up fast, and my brother and I cannot carry all of these expenses on our own.
