Help us honor our Father, Gene Thompson’s wishes

On August 11th , our world shattered. My dad, Gene Thompson, passed away from kidney failure. He was given the option to continue dialysis, but chose instead to spend his remaining days surrounded by family, free from more hospital visits and pain.

He left this world the way he lived — on his own terms, with courage, love, and a little bit of stubbornness. He always put everyone else first, even when he had nothing left to give.

Now it’s our turn to give back to him. His wish was simple: to be remembered with dignity, through a proper service and cremation. But the costs are more than our family can bear right now.

We want to give him the goodbye he deserves — not just for us, but for everyone whose life he touched with his kindness and humor.
