Our dad, Lance Anthony Mabin, passed away unexpectedly, and our family is still in shock. He was a creative soul who poured his heart into film and music. He meant so much to so many people, and his passing came sooner than we could have prepared for.

Our dad loved his kids and always encouraged us to stay true to who we are. Even though he’s no longer with us, his spirit lives on through the legacy he left behind.

Anthony did incredible work as a Visual FX Artist for major film and animation studios. He also created music early on as a producer (DJ Antron), working with hip-hop pioneers such as MadRok.

Because his passing was so unexpected, we’re now facing funeral and memorial expenses, along with other arrangements.

As his kids, we’re asking for help covering these costs so we can focus on supporting one another and celebrating our dad’s life with the dignity he deserves.

In 2018, our dad created a GoFundMe for his own mother, our grandma Linda, during a medical emergency. She passed away in June 2025; just shy of six months before our dad. We’re grieving again, and it feels only right they be laid to rest together.
