On August 9th, our lives were forever changed when our dad passed away very unexpectedly. He wasn’t just our father—he was our best friend, our protector, and the one who held our family together.

After my brother passed away 11 years ago, my mom never returned to work. My dad became her provider, making sure she never had to worry about bills, the house, or anything else. He truly did everything for us—whether it was fixing something around the house, helping with tons of errands, or making a Chick-fil-A or McDonald’s soda run 4–5 times a day for us (yes, really, haha!). That was just who he was—always showing up for us in big ways and small.

While I work, my dad’s passing has left a gap in supporting my mom. We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover funeral costs, monthly bills, and to relieve as much stress as possible while we figure out life without him.
