Hello, my name is Arielle. I am heartbroken and sad to say that I am here on behalf of my baby brother, Nicolas. On October 24th, my brother unexpectedly took his last breath, leaving us unprepared financially for funeral services. He walked into the hospital complaining of really bad stomach cramps and pain, not thinking it was anything serious. After hours of testing, doctors were unable to find the source of the issue but offered treatment to stop the pain. Soon after, while laying there, my brother took a turn for the worse, and his health started to decline. Life-saving measures were performed, but he didn’t make it. An autopsy was done, and we learned that he passed due to a clogged bile duct, which caused his stomach to explode, and he went septic. The cause of the clogged bile duct was due to thick scar tissue from a botched surgery he received in the care of the county a few years prior, which resulted in him having a colostomy bag. He was only 27 years young. He was a father who had a huge heart and would do anything for those he loved and considered family. Now we are asking those same people and others to reciprocate the love by helping us send him home peacefully.
