Help Us Honor Nanette Salmond's Memory
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I share the loss of my beloved mother, Nanette Salmond, who passed away on March 26th, 2025, after a long struggle with an infection and a weakened heart. My mother was a woman of strength and love, whose life was dedicated to her family. She was 72 years old, and though she faced many challenges in her later years, she never stopped caring for those around her. Her love for her children and younger sister was unwavering, and she had a spirit that touched everyone she met. As a widow since 2001, my mother faced life with resilience, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Now, as we navigate the heartbreaking reality of her passing, we find ourselves facing a significant financial burden. With no funds set aside for her funeral and burial, we are reaching out to our community for support. The pain of losing her is compounded by the worry of how to give her the peaceful farewell she deserves. My siblings and I, along with my mother’s younger sister, have come together to honor her memory, but we need the kindness and generosity of others to make this possible. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us as we strive to lay her to rest with the dignity she so rightfully deserves.
We understand that these are difficult times for many, but if you are able, please consider donating to help cover the costs of my mother’s funeral and burial expenses. Your support would not only ease our financial burdens but also offer us comfort during this incredibly difficult time. Our family is deeply grateful for any help, and we will carry your kindness with us as we say goodbye to a woman who was so loved, and whose memory will live on in our hearts forever. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering helping us honor my mother’s life and legacy.
