Es con el corazón pesado que comparto la batalla continua que mi madre ha enfrentado durante los últimos 3 ½ años. Diagnosticada con cáncer, ha luchado con una fuerza y valentía inimaginables a través de quimioterapia, radioterapia y numerosos tratamientos. Sin embargo, después de años de dolor y sacrificio, los médicos nos han dejado claro que la quimioterapia ya no es una opción. La única acción que queda es la radioterapia para aliviar su dolor y mantenerla cómoda en sus últimos días.

Como su hija, he visto cómo esta lucha ha agotado a nuestra familia tanto emocional como financieramente. El impacto ha sido profundo, y a medida que llegamos a las etapas finales de este camino, nos dirigimos a ustedes en busca de ayuda. Los costos médicos, los viajes y el cuidado necesario para honrar los deseos de mi madre nos han sobrepasado. Pero queremos seguir luchando por ella, asegurarnos de que sus últimos días estén llenos de amor, dignidad y confort, tal como ella lo merece.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the ongoing battle my mother has faced for the past 3 ½ years. The medical costs, the travel, and the care needed to honor my mother’s wishes have stretched us beyond our limits. But we want to continue to fight for her, to make sure that her last days are filled with love, dignity, and comfort—just as she deserves.
