This week, my dear brother left this world, and now there are only three of us siblings left. May God rest his soul. We endured so much together, surviving the Khmer Rouge and the Vietnamese invasion, side by side as five. My father, God rest his soul, my two brothers and big sister—we were the last five that survived the genocide. Those struggles shaped who we are, and we carried each other through them. It breaks my heart to say goodbye, but I hold onto the hope that in his next life, he will never have to suffer the way he did in this one and that he will know peace, comfort, and joy.
I am asking for your help to cover funeral expenses and to honor him in a way that reflects the love, sacrifices, and resilience he carried throughout his life. Any amount, big or small, will mean so much to us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion, prayers, and support.
