Help Us Honor Mrs. Miller's Loving Legacy

Donation protected

A mother's love is often described as a divine gift, and for many, including myself, my mom embodies that sentiment perfectly; she is the most precious gift from God, a constant source of steady support, unconditional love, and guidance that shapes who I am today, allowing me to navigate life with great strength. If anybody knew Mrs. Miller, she is the type to go outside and cut her own grass, and chop down the tree if she has to lol. Even if it’s bigger than her, she’s outside doing what’s needed. Well, friends and family, I’m sorry to say but right now she has lost that strength physically but not spiritually. My family and I need your help.

Just imagine my pain of losing two mothers and my father! My birth mom and the one that took on the responsibility of raising my brothers and me. The main piece to my puzzle is now gone.

On January 4th, my mom went into the hospital with body pains and not being able to hold anything down, such as food or water. Long story short, my mom stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks, and during that process, we were told that her vitals were getting better, but she looked worse than she did when she first came in, only to find out that she had a very severe stroke, a stroke that cuts off most of her vital functions of the body. Now, what I do know is 90% of the island knows of my loving grandmother! She was always everyone’s go-to. What I mean by that is, she was your shoulder to lean on, the listening ear, and she ALWAYS had the hands to give (even when she needed it the most). Now we’re in a position to ask for that same help in abundance. This fundraiser will firstly aim to help my family that currently live off of the island come back home to lay my mother down to rest and then everything else will go to cover any expenses for my mom's funeral arrangements.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. A little goes a long way. Anything is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, sharing this with your network is another powerful way to support my mom and our family during this incredibly difficult time. My dear friends and family, please help.

Also, please feel free to leave your story on how my loving mom has helped you or showed her love to you or your children. As we all know my mom was a pediatric nurse and she loved children! She accepted all the babies and took care of them as if they were her own.
