It breaks our hearts to share that my sister, Monique, has passed away. Losing her so suddenly has left our family heartbroken and struggling to process the pain of her absence and trying to understand life without her. Monique wasn’t just a daughter, sister, mother, auntie, cousin, and friend. she was the most kind-hearted, giving, and most helpful person who was always there when you needed her most. Even at the end of her journey, she has still given life to others in need by donating her living organs.

Anyone who knew Monique knows how great of a mom she was and how deeply she cared for others and always went out of her way to help. She showed up for everyone she loved; she left a mark that can never be erased.

As we try to navigate this heartbreak, we want to give her the most beautiful farewell Monique deserves, one filled with love, family, and remembrance. Unfortunately, the costs of funeral services, burial, reception, and other unpaid expenses that she has left behind have become more than our family can manage on our own.
