I just recently lost my mom, and the pain of her absence is overwhelming for both me and my son, Jamaal. My mom was a beautiful person inside and out, always there to listen and support us through whatever life threw our way. Now, without her, Jamaal and I feel so alone—our family has alienated us, and we are all we have. I struggle with my mental health, and Jamaal and I both miss her loving presence every day. We adored her, and she adored us right back.

To honor her memory and keep her close to us, Jamaal and I want to get tattoos of her beautiful face. Unfortunately, I am currently off work, and the cost of both tattoos is more than we can afford—it equals a month's rent. On top of this, we are facing legal challenges. My niece and nephew have refused to give us a copy of my mom's trust, and they won't let me have anything of my mom's. I need a probate lawyer to help us get a copy of the trust and to ensure my mom's wishes are honored. My hope is that my siblings and I can share in the proceeds of the sale of my mom's house, as she would have wanted, especially since my niece and nephew are insisting on selling it rather than keeping it in the family.

Normally, I am a generous person and rarely ask for help, but this time we truly need support. My mom meant everything to us, and having her image tattooed on us would bring comfort and help us cope with the loss. The legal support will help us honor her wishes and find some peace during this difficult time.
