Help Us Honor Martin Leon's Life

We shall continue the celebration of life for Martin Leon

As many of y'all may know Martin was a well known person in the community, he had his days and ways but to know him is to love him. In the early morning just before 3:00 am on 01/18/2025 my mom and siblings heard a gunshot,when they opened the door to see what was going on she saw Martin running and his final words to her was "Momma he shot me" my brother was shot in the hip. The killer proceeded to chase him and continued shooting (3-4 more shots) which one went through the trailer, another one striking him...My mom closed the door, when the shots stopped she open the door again and called out for him but there was no answer, she and my siblings went looking for him only to find him laying face down in her front yard. The killer shot him in the head as he tried to jump the fence to escape. After several hours in a police standoff the killer was apprehended. We are devastated and broken-hearted of this senseless crime we didn't plan to bury him this soon as he still had so much life in him. On 01/18/2025 @2:53pm the doctor called his time of death and on 01/19/2025 we as a family made the decision to allow Martin's life to continue on and save as many lives by being an Organ Donor Hero. Unfortunately Martin didn't have any Life Insurance, so we're reaching out to the community and any organizations for help, Help us give him the Homegoing celebration he deserves.
