It is with a very heavy heart we share that after 68 years of making wonderful memories with us, our beloved Marina Heck has been called home to be with God. She will be deeply missed but we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, surrounded by love and watching over us all. Marina had a passion for gardening, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She was married to her loving husband Joe for 47 years and he still talks about the twinkle in her eyes when they first met.

They had 2 children, Joey and Barb who meant the world to her and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them.

Joe and Marina were also blessed with 5 grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Marina was a constant source of love, support and comfort to so many and she treated everyone like family. From family to friends, and friends who became family, Marina's legacy and memories will be in our hearts forever.

As we celebrate her life and the beautiful memories she gave us, we are asking for help to cover her funeral expenses. Any contribution you can make would be a blessing and deeply appreciated.

Visitation will be at Laird Funeral on Thursday, March 6th, 2025 from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Following the ceremony, we will meet at Mantra located at 76 S. Grove Ave, Elgin, IL 60120 for food and drinks.
