Hi, I am the father of this sweet, beautiful girl, Mariah Thompson. Me & her mother had to make a life-changing decision this week. Come Tuesday, May 27th, we will have to go through a very bad life-changing event and take our daughter off life support. She will turn 11 months on the 27th , and she would have been turning 1 on June 27th next month. We are so hurt about this situation. We don’t want our daughter to be suffering or in any more pain. She got to the hospital way back in October 2024. She has been a strong girl, fighting every step of the way, but due to her bad brain injury, she cannot open her eyes, she can’t move, talk, maybe not even see or hear. We don’t want to make this decision; no parent should ever have to go through this, especially me & her mother. We are not the ones that caused our daughter to be in the hospital or any of our kids.she has been losing oxygen daily maybe 3-4 times a day she has been running fevers every other day & she had been getting real hot & cold & its hard for her to keep her temperature right due to just laying there .

If you are reading this, we really need help to have a funeral for our daughter. We don’t want to have our daughter cremated; we want to be able to visit her headstone & enjoy going to see her with her brothers & sister. We love her so much. We’re trying to stay strong the best we can. PLEASE SHARE WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS. EVERYTHING WILL BE GOING TO MARIAH'S FUNERAL & HEADSTONE. I PRAY NO PARENTS SHOULD HAVE TO EVER GO THROUGH THIS, ESPECIALLY ALONE.
