In Loving Memory of Marcus G. Travis Jr.

Dear friends and family — including our beloved Bibleway Church family,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved brother, Marcus, on July 26, 2025.

Despite life’s many trials and tribulations, Marcus truly loved life. He was incredibly talented, with a passion for drawing, playing the drums, and even rhyming from time to time under the moniker “Big Boy.” He was remarkably gifted in each of these things, and his joyful, creative spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

Marcus’s homegoing service will be held on August 9, 2025, followed by a repast to further celebrate his life. We’re reaching out to our community for support — if you’re able to contribute in any way toward the service or repast, it would be a tremendous blessing and relief for our family. Whether through monetary donations or support for food, your kindness means the world to us.

Any amount, no matter how small, helps us honor Marcus with the love and dignity he deserves.
