With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Mamaw Sandy passed away on April 3, 2025, at 8:32 AM. She was a devoted Christian, was raised in the church, and spent much of her life serving through faith. She was an active congregation member, sharing her gift of music by playing the organ and piano.

Mamaw Sandy and our Papaw Doug shared a lifetime of adventures, traveling wherever God called them. Along the way, they made countless memories and cherished friendships. She had been battling health issues for some time, and after weeks in and out of the hospital, she was placed in hospice care last Friday.

Our family is coming together to honor her final wishes. We are raising funds to provide her with a proper service where loved ones can celebrate her beautiful life. After her cremation, Papaw Doug will travel to Florida—the place they spent many winters together—to scatter her ashes as she desired. We will also be taking a small portion to have some of her ashes added into rings for us grandkids.

Any contribution, big or small, will help us cover funeral expenses and ensure that we can give Mamaw Sandy the farewell she deserves. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this difficult time.
