Help Us Honor Lynne (Chalmers) Chambers' Life and Legacy
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that my family and I share the passing of our beloved grandmother, sister, aunt, and best friend, mother, Lynne (Chalmers) Chambers, who left us on April 25th. Lynne was only 62, she had so much life left to live. She had the most contagious laugh, the biggest heart, and dearly loved her family. She always put her family first, offering comfort and unconditional love, and made us all feel cherished. Her greatest joy was being around her family. She left a mark on us, and we miss her dearly.
She went into the hospital on October 2nd for a gastric sleeve surgery. She chose to undergo the surgery so she could improve her quality of life and health. Since that day, she was in the ICU. On October 11th, she got a tracheotomy. Her body was in immense pain, and our family was unable to speak with her in her last months, as she was in an induced coma. During her last months, she experienced enough surgeries that 95% of her stomach was gone, leaving a huge surgical wound that wouldn't heal. It was immensely difficult for our family to see her in this condition.
Since her passing, we have been remembering her life and our memories. Trying to find a way to memorialize her correctly. My family is asking for this donation to help with paying for funeral costs, a celebration of life, and to get her and us to Kansas, where she will rest alongside her parents.
