Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news of my brother Luelen Jim's passing. He was a devoted father of six, a proud combat veteran who served our country with honor, and someone who loved his daughters more than words can express. Everybody knew him as a funny guy, always telling jokes and roasting people with his quick wit, bringing laughter and light to every gathering. Luelen brought strength, love, and unwavering dedication to everyone around him, leaving an indelible mark on our family and community.

As we come together to celebrate his life and say our final goodbyes, we're facing the overwhelming financial burden of funeral costs. These include transportation of his remains back to the island of Pohnpei to bury him next to his father, the casket, burial plot, memorial service, flowers, and transportation for out-of-town family. In total, we're estimating $10,000 to cover everything without adding more stress during this difficult time.
