Juno first entered our lives in May 2011, when my daughter Sydney’s third grade teacher brought a litter of puppies to school. Sydney called me at work, begging to bring one home, and that’s how Juno became part of our family. I had only ever had cats before, but Juno quickly won my heart with her playful spirit and silly wiggle butt moves. She’s been with us for nearly all of Sydney’s life—Sydney is now 23—and has been a constant source of joy and comfort in our home.
Juno is now 14 and very sick. We’re facing the difficult reality that her time with us is coming to an end. The costs for her final vet visit, blood work, cremation, and an urn to keep her ashes are more than I can manage right now. We want to honor Juno and keep her close, especially since we live in a townhome without a yard where we could bury her. Juno is not just a pet—she’s family. When she had her only litter, we kept one of her puppies, Linky, who has never been apart from his mama. It’s important to us that we bring Juno back home in a way that gives us comfort and closure.
Your support would mean so much to our family during this heartbreaking time. Any help will go directly toward Juno’s care and aftercare, allowing us to honor her memory and keep her with us. Thank you for considering helping us say goodbye to our beloved Juno.
