It is with great despair and denial that I'm writing this.

As of October 28, 2024 my son's life was robbed from him at only 15 years old. My son was involved in an unfortunate accident that occurred in Koreatown, and we are still trying to find answers in this very difficult time in our lives. Everything is still under investigation as a senseless driver struck him and fled the scene leaving him deceased. Joseph Rangel wanted to make changes and make a positive difference in the world, he was a kind, loving, and a remarkable human being to others. He wasn't just a son but a brother to 2 younger sisters he loved very much. He was excited to meet his new baby sister that is expected to be born in March. It is with great pain to know he will never get to meet her.

The sudden death of my son has left us with many challenges and expenses we weren't prepared for. We want to give him a beautiful sendoff any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated.
