It is with a heavy and broken heart that I share the unexpected and sudden passing of my father, Joselito Aponte. No words can truly capture the weight of this loss or the ache in our hearts.

For those who knew my dad, you knew his life wasn’t always easy — he faced many struggles over the years. But through it all, he remained a man with a big heart, a giving spirit, and a love for life in his own unique way.

As we prepare to lay him to rest and honor his memory, I humbly ask that you remember the good in him — the man who loved deeply, laughed fully, worked hard, and cooked meals that brought everyone together. If you ever tasted his food, you knew it was made with love. If you ever sat with him during a football game, you saw his passion. If you knew him in his younger days, you knew how much he loved running track and feeling free.

It would mean the world to me and my family if you could help us give my father the peaceful send-off he deserves — in the place he loved most, by the beach, where he can forever rest in peace.
