Ten years ago, we received some pretty devastating news. My father, John, was diagnosed with serious health conditions: heart disease, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, lung cancer, and emphysema COPD. He fought a good fight up until the very end. My sister, brother, and I were able to be with him at home in his final moments. He still had his humor towards the end, even when accepting that his disease had progressed. He never asked for much; he just wanted to be home and help to be comfortable to prepare him to start his journey.
My father was a simple man and didn’t ask for much. He was a very hardworking man who tried to keep a joyful attitude in the toughest times. He definitely was a fighter, and his unwavering determination to make the best out of his life allowed him to live life to the fullest.
In the early morning hours of June 26, 2025, he passed on to start his journey to the afterworld. As much as he wanted to make sure that we did not have to worry about anything after he was gone, he could not afford to make sure all expenses would be covered. We are asking for assistance with the costs of his cremation and memorial services. Any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you!
