Help Us Lay James Dreifus to Rest & Seek Answers

The world stood still for our family on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, when we received the devastating news that our beloved father, James Dreifus, had suddenly passed away. Just in this past month, he was recovering from open-heart surgery, and we had all been so hopeful for his healing and return to normal life. His sudden passing has left us in complete shock and heartbreak.

James was more than just a father—he was a kind, thoughtful, and strong man who was deeply loved by his family, respected by his friends, and admired by his coworkers. His presence brought light and steadiness to our lives, and his absence has left a space that can never truly be filled.

Our family is now facing the unexpected challenge of covering bills and expenses, and we are also seeking funds for a private autopsy so we can gain some clarity and peace of mind about what happened. We want answers—not just for ourselves, but to honor his life and legacy with the truth he deserves.

Throughout this painful time, the outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming, especially toward my brother Devin, who has been carrying so much of the emotional and practical weight. We are beyond grateful for every kind word, message, hug, and prayer. Your love is holding us up.

Once the costs are covered, we plan to organize a Celebration of Life for James—something beautiful and meaningful, just like the way he lived. We’ll share more when that time comes.
