**Update** the estimate for funeral expenses has increased and the new goal has been updated.

Hello, this is Chelsea & Stephen Quintero, children of the beloved and strong Iris Caldwell. It is with a heavy heart to say on 11/11/2024, our mother left this earth. She will forever be dearly missed and is in our hearts. This unexpected heartbreak has damaged us both in ways that never can be compared, not only physically, emotionally and mentally, but now financially. We would appreciate anything that can be donated to help with the funeral expenses. We greatly appreciate anything during this difficult and challenging time.

She was creative, loving, smart, funny, and so much more. She loves the outdoors and animals. She especially loved taking care of her dogs, TJ and LJ. Her bright light could be seen for miles and will continue to shine on all of those who loved her.

She will be laid to rest at Mount Shasta Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a viewing followed by a funeral ceremony on December 16 at 11 AM. Date and time is subject to change. We encourage people to share any memories, stories, or funny moments about her to during the funeral service.

There will also be a celebration of life in Los Angeles. More details to come.
