Indigo Greene was a trans woman, a witch, a vegan, a lover of art and dancing and creation, a fighter and a wanderer. She took people into her home when they needed support, helped feed the community, saved others from the brink of death, and was a shining light and model for what someone should be.
She passed on July 9th as a result of a lifelong battle with mental health issues stemming from childhood abuse. She is survived by a community of friends and loved ones that miss her greatly.
We are currently fighting a lengthy and expensive legal battle in order to ensure she is buried with dignity, in the manner she chose and stated before her passing. The formal memorial has yet to take place because of complications with the case. As such I’m asking the community to please help us make sure she rests peacefully and costs are covered to give her the procession she wanted and deserves.
