We are heartbroken to announce that on Thursday August 28, 2025 the Matriarch of our family went on to be with the Lord.

To many of you she was grandma, auntie or Dirty Gertie if you knew her well.

She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and those whom she loved most in the world.

My grandma was a woman who put family above everything else. She lived her life fiercely and was never afraid to speak her mind. She is who taught us all to persevere and roll with every punch that life throws.

As she joins her sons Doug, Eddie, Greg & Wayne in heaven - She leaves behind her son Jeff and her daughters Christy, Kim, Danielle and Crystal.

These are the people that she lived her life for, the ones she sacrificed for and the ones she held on so long for ❤️‍

While they figure out what life entails without their momma, I ask that you find it in your heart to help reduce the financial burden we all know accompanies a loss like this. If you cannot help financially, please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers
