It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved grandma Chan Yip on Friday, October 25, 2024, surrounded by all her loved ones. She had suffered from a stroke and blood hemorrhage in the brain. Grandma was a loving and gentle soul; her loyalty to those around her was unmatched. She was a well-loved Christian member at the Tacoma Cambodian Evangelical Church. She had a big heart and was kind and funny to all. She impacted all the lives she touched. She is survived by her six children: Choum Toun, Choam Toun, Chek Toun, Charm Toun, Naykea Toun, Bunthoeun Toun, many grandkids, and great-grandkids.

This GoFundMe was created to raise money to alleviate the financial burden as we grieve a loss beyond comprehension. Contributions will go towards funeral expenses, any medical bills that aren’t covered, and support for our family as we begin to navigate through this tremendous loss.
