Our beloved Gmom, Jane Martha Traylor, passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 82. She was a light in our lives, a firecracker with a heart of gold, a steady presence in every moment that mattered, and the kind of woman who made a house feel like home.

Gmom built her life around love and family. She fulfilled her dream of creating a peaceful home on a hill near the lake in Gray, Maine, and filled it with laughter, warmth, and the joy of countless shared memories. She spent her working years as a grocery store associate, known for her kindness and work ethic. In her free time, she found joy in the little things like crocheting, gardening, birdwatching, and caring for the many pets she lovingly kept at home.

Above all, she was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She didn’t just love her family. She lived for them.

As we navigate this difficult time, we’ve created this fundraiser to help cover the unexpected costs associated with Gmom’s passing. These include funeral arrangements, a celebration of life, and final expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward honoring her in the way she deserves and easing the burden on our family.
