Help Us Honor Glenna's Final Wishes

Story

We have decided to create this to allow those that are able and willing to help us in these times. Mom has had a rough few months starting in March with back and forth trips to the hospital due to several different medical complications. It all boiled down to a diagnosis of Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and given 6-9 months to live. We were hopeful and trying to help mom keep faith in accepting chemo treatment to help prolong the time we had left with her. June 18th, mom had her first chemo treatment that took a toll on her body and landed her back in the hospital 2 days after on the 20th. She was incoherent and had prolonged seizures. She had to be intubated for the doctors to run tests to see what caused the complications. The chemo treatment was too hard on her body and caused neurotoxicity on the brain. We were told there’s no recovering; she wasn’t leaving the hospital walking out. It’s time to say our peace and goodbyes. Our 6-9 months was cut short to just 1-2 months and we didn’t have enough time to prepare for afterlife expenses. Us kids are left trying to put everything together to make sure we follow her wishes, which were no extensive life-saving measures and she wants to be cremated. We knew this was coming, just not this soon, so we’re asking for all those that loved Glenna and want to help, we would greatly appreciate any donations at this time. If we raise enough for a memorial service, then we will plan that accordingly, but right now it’s just to help lay her body to rest.
