Help Us Honor Ginny's Loving Memory
Donation protected
Our beloved cat Ginny has spent the past few years battling against kidney disease and kidney failure and despite the strength of her fight, the medications, and the other aids that Steph and I have utilized, we've come to the conclusion that our fight has ended. We've made the decision to take Ginny in for euthanization this Saturday, 9/28, before she loses her remaining quality of life. Steph has been lucky to get to love and bond with this wonderful cat for 17 years and getting to know and love her myself has been one of the highlights of my life. Ginny has welcomed me home from work trips by yelling for attention, she has calmed us during our tough days with her purrs and her affection, and she has been a consistent source of love and light in our lives.
Our hope right now is to have her cremated and her ashes placed in an urn that we can take with us as we find our permanent home, so that she can remain with us always. We are also hoping to get a clay paw print and a stuffed animal in her likeness that we can display in our home(s) in her memory.
If anybody is able and willing to donate whatever small amount to help us do right by our pet and to help us preserve her memory, it would be greatly apprecaited. We've based our goal off of the estimate we received from our vet for the cost of the euthanisia and the cremation service. The goal might change to reflect a differening price depending on what service we choose for the cremation itself. Anything beyond the goal will help pay for the clay paw print, the stuffed animal, and for her urn. Thank you for your support and for helping us keep Ginny with us in our hearts and in our homes forever.
