Honoring the Legacy of Eyob Ogbazghi Ibrahim – A Life of Love and Faith

With broken hearts, we share the unimaginable loss of our beloved brother and friend, Eyob Ogbazghi Ibrahim, who passed away on May 11, 2025. Eyob was a man of extraordinary kindness, humility, and unwavering faith. He quietly carried the burdens of others, gave generously without seeking recognition, and left behind a legacy of compassion that will forever inspire all who knew him.

Today, his loving wife and two precious young children face life without the steady presence of their devoted husband and father. While nothing can ease the pain of such a loss, our shared support can help lighten the practical burdens they now encounter.

In response to the many heartfelt inquiries from our diaspora community and beyond, a GoFundMe page has been established to provide direct assistance to the family during this difficult time.

This effort is organized by Samson Zerom, Mussie Tecle,Simon Fsehaye, Brhane Tecle , Henok Gebreab, Bahta Michael, Yafeat Suliman, and many more devoted friends and community members who stand united in honouring Eyob’s memory. Though not every name is listed, this endeavour reflects the profound love and respect so many held for him.

With heartfelt gratitude, we thank all who stand with us in remembrance of Eyob. May every act of kindness be a lasting testament to his legacy and may God’s mercy and blessings be upon all who give with a generous heart.
