Hello, my name is Dulce and I am the eldest daughter trying to fundraise money for my recently deceased father. He suffered from a 4-year-long heart condition that ended his life, and my family and I are looking for financial support to give him a proper burial. Thank you.

On February 21st, my father, Everardo Monje tragically passed away due to complications arising from a severe heart condition. He had been battling a weak heart since 2020, a diagnosis that led to numerous hospitalizations over the years. My dad’s health had been a constant source of concern for our loved ones, as he faced the challenges and uncertainties that accompanied his heart condition. Despite the medical interventions and support he received at the hospital and family, his heart ultimately succumbed, leaving our family and friends to mourn his loss.

My father’s life was full of challenges and hardships that led him down a multitude of difficult paths. However, his unwavering love for his daughters and family ignited an inner strength that drove him to overcome these challenges as best as he could. For a brief month, my dad’s health seemed to improve dramatically and was able to be discharged from the hospital. Throughout that month, our family did our best to support him and spend as much time with him as possible. We all sincerely thought that things were finally looking up and were going to have more years with him. Unfortunately, my dad fell sick again and was readmitted to the hospital. Shortly after his readmission, he passed away.

Everyone who knew my father, including the hospital staff who cared for him, loved him. Even while he was feeling ill, my father never stopped trying to make others smile and laugh.
