Help Us Honor Elsa De La Vega's Memory

On October 16th, our hearts were shattered as we said goodbye to our beautiful mother, Elsa De La Vega. She was more than just our mom — she was our heart, our strength, our laughter, and the light that brought so much joy into the lives of everyone who knew her.

My mother was truly loved by so many. She had this incredible way of touching hearts, lifting spirits, and making everyone feel seen and cared for. Whether it was through her kindness, her humor, or her warm hugs, she left a mark that will never fade.

On August 14th, she suffered a stroke and had been in a skilled nursing facility for the past month and a half. Even through her pain, she kept showing us what true strength and faith look like. She fought so hard — every day reminding us that she could overcome anything. That’s why losing her feels so unexpected and so hard to believe.

I am one of her six daughters, and together we’re doing our best to stay strong and honor her the way she deserves. We want to give her a beautiful farewell — something that reflects all the love she gave to this world.

We’re asking for any help you can give toward her funeral, chapel service, and cremation expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will mean so much to our family.

We are so grateful for all the love, prayers, and kind words we’ve received. Your support brings us comfort during this heartbreaking time. We’re still finalizing the dates for her services, and we’ll share them as soon as we can.
