Hi, my name is Nicholas Vega. I am reaching out to ask for assistance to raise money for my father's funeral & to assist my mother with medical bills she incurred when falling ill at the same time as my fathers was dying from Cancer. Even Though my Parents were divorced they each always supported me in everything I did. They were both always there for me at nearly every baseball game I played. They each gave many hours to New Windsor little league growing up so I could follow my passion. Both my parents not only shared my love for the game but inspired & encouraged me to play and still do. I unfortunately have watched the last ball game I will ever get to see with my Father, the last Yankee this post season and they lost! I was supposed to watch the dodgers game on the 16th but sadly my father , Edgardo Vega, did not make it. He passed at 7:55 am on that Thursday October 16th 2025 peacefully in his sleep. I Thankfully had that last Yankee's game to remember, being that was our favorite team, I even made sure to wear my judge jersey for him. As ill as my mother was and in the hospital at the time . She made sure she got out to celebrate my 25th birthday. The Last one I would have with my father. So all 3 of us could celebrate that milestone at my fathers bedside. So that I could have the memory of all 3 of us together for that big milestone for the rest of my life.

Now the time comes for me to Honor all my father gave to me throughout my life and would love to be able to help my mother pay some of her medical bills or just be able to help he cover more household expenses at this time, being she is not insured and was just let go temporarily for her job. My family & I are struggling to come up with the funds to give him the burial he desired and deserves. That is the most immediate expense that I need to be paid. At this time the cost for my father's funeral is $16,000 that my family and I are in need of to honor my fathers last wishes to be buried in New Windsor near me. If I even meet that goal I would at least be able to honor his wishes. Any donations that exceeds that goal will go towards assisting my mother.

So here I find myself on go fund me having to ask for help in honoring my father's last wishes. I am asking my family, friends, my fellow baseball lovers that are out, my car loving communities that are out there, being my mother shares my love and passion for cars just as much as she does baseball.

SO PLEASE HELP ME HIT A GRAND SLAM AT OF THE PARK IN HONOR OF MY FATHER AND TAKE A LAP OR TWO AROUND THE TRACK FOR MY MOTHER!!!!!
