*Update unfortunate turn of events*
It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the news of Dylin’s passing.
He was called home at 3:13am on September 23, 2026, at just 34 years old, surrounded with love and support.
It feels incomprehensible to navigate this tragic loss. After a long and incredibly brave fight with his liver and kidneys, he peacefully succumbed to his battle, surrounded by his loving family. While our grief is immense, we find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and has now reunited with his loved ones who’ve passed on.
Because he was taken from us so young, there were no financial plans or preparations in place. We're now redirecting this GoFundMe to help cover the final costs associated with his passing, such as private cremation, memorial, and celebration of life. We really want to give him the send-off he truly deserves, and it helps solidify the ability to honor him fully without added worries. My family and I share the deepest gratitude for the love he's been shown throughout this process. We are grateful for the nonstop prayers, and if you're able to donate or share, it helps a lot.
We thank you for the continuous support.
Hi, my name is Macie. Last month, my son Dylin went in for an outpatient procedure to prolong his life. After some complications, he’s been left with complete liver and kidney failure. Since August 31st, Dylin has been in the hospital fighting a hard fight that has included two emergency surgeries and his current stay in the ICU. Currently, he’s in the process of stabilizing in order to be a candidate for a liver transplant. During all of this, Dylin was let go from his 10 years of employment at Hahns Appliances. The result of that effectively evaporated the financial support he needs to cover the unexpected medical bills and daily living expenses that have followed these unforeseen events.
If you know Dylin, you’d know that he’s been a hard worker all of his life who takes pride in providing for himself and the people he loves. You’d know that he’s the person people call when they need something fixed, or a place to stay if times are hard. His kindness has always extended well beyond people. He is the first to spend his last dollar on an animal in need, and he loves his two dogs more than anything else on earth. He has the loudest laugh that you can hear from a mile away, followed by the purest heart you always undeniably feel when he is near.
So this is me and my family asking for help with the costs that have and will arise as we continue to navigate this trying journey. Please know that whether you can donate, simply share this page, or keep him in your thoughts and prayers, that every single bit of support means the world to us all.
Thank you so much.
*Update* Hope has not run dry for Dylin, our family or the medical professionals. His immune system is progressively declining. His body is incredibly weak and unable to retain an organ transplant at this time. However he has an incredible amount of life, love and stubborn strength inside of him. Transparently there are only a few options that have not yet been exhausted. The incredible team in his circle have been doing everything they can and are continuing to do so. We ask that you please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We are all immensely grateful for your support **
