Our hearts are heavy as we share the news that our beloved 17-year-old Dominic, a cherished son and brother, was taken from us far too soon. Dominic lit up every room he entered with his big heart and warm, welcoming smile. Anyone who knew Dominic would tell you that he was incredibly funny — he loved making people laugh and was always the first to crack a joke to brighten someone’s day. He was also one of the smartest people we knew, with endless curiosity and a bright future ahead of him.

Dominic’s deep love for family was evident to all. He cherished every moment spent with those he cared about, especially his mother and siblings. He always made sure his loved ones felt supported and cared for. In life, Dominic was known for:

• His infectious laughter and warm smile that could light up the darkest of days

• A quick wit and sense of humor that made everyone around him laugh, even on tough days

• Being a caring son and brother who always put his family first and made sure everyone felt included

• His bright mind and endless potential — a hardworking student with big dreams for the future

• A kind and compassionate spirit who loved on everyone he met, whether a lifelong friend or someone new

Dominic truly was a light in this world, and we feel incredibly lucky to have shared his laughter and love. He had such a bright future ahead of him, and it hurts that he won’t be there to fulfill all of his dreams. Even so, the memories of his kindness, humor, and brilliant smile will live on in our hearts forever.

This loss has left us all devastated, and as a family we are now faced with the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses. We want to honor Dominic with a proper farewell, but the costs of a funeral can be overwhelming.
