Help Us Lay Darrnell Scott to Rest

In a tragic sequence of events Darrnell was killed after being struck and ran over by a black truck while crossing the street on his way home. Even more terrible a second vehicle, a seemingly dark gray suv also ran Darrnell over leaving him in the middle of the road. In a heartbreaking display of disregard for human life, neither driver stopped to help or call for assistance. Both fled the scene. His family was not notified of his passing until four days later when they called the Medical Examiner's Office and found that he was there.

Darrnell was a kind-hearted soul who was always making people laugh. He was deeply loved by his family and community. His sudden and tragic passing has left us devastated.

Darrnell did not have life insurance, and this unexpected loss has placed a tremendous emotional and financial burden on our family. We are asking for your support to help us give Darrnell the respectful, dignified funeral he deserves.
