Hello, my name is Dalyce Kelley from Claremont, California. I am the granddaughter of Eaton FIre victim, Dalyce Curry. On January 8, 2025, our beautiful grandmother, Dalyce Curry, tragically perished in the devastating Eaton fires in Altadena. As we approach the one-year anniversary of this heartbreaking event, my deepest wish is to finally give her the lasting tribute she deserves: a headstone to share the double grave plot with my father. I have been tirelessly working to save for this, but this year brought unimaginable hardship; tragically, I lost my beloved sister one month after my grandmother, and then my brother on August 1, 2025. Losing three cherished family members this year has left me financially and emotionally depleted, and I have not been able to recover the funds needed to complete her final resting place and finalize the memorial.
I am reaching out to our community for help to make this final act of love a reality. All funds raised will go directly to Panda Memorials to cover the costs of picking up the black marble headstone, having it expertly etched with Dalyce’s name, and reinstalling it at the grave site, which totals $750. The other $250 or whatever else is donated, I would like to give to the cemetery she and a few of my family members are buried, Lincoln Memorial Park in Compton, CA. The site has been left abandoned by the owner, due to health complications, and is being ran by volunteers to keep up the grounds. Here is their GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/revitalizing-lincoln-memorial-park-cemetery
My grandmother, Dalyce Curry, was a special, warm-hearted, and generous person, and she deserves to be honored before the one-year mark of the fire. Please help us honor her memory.
