Dear Family, Friends, and MMA community,

As we continue to mourn the loss of Cowin LaVrun Hopson, lovingly known as “CoHop”, a classmate, friend, and beautiful soul whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and light to so many lives.

Whether you had the joy of knowing CoHop personally or are just learning about him now, his spirit left a lasting mark. He was someone who lifted others up, made people feel like family, and lived with a kindness that didn’t go unnoticed.

In this time of mourning, we’re coming together to honor CoHop in a meaningful way: by helping his family cover the cost of a headstone that will stand as a permanent tribute to his life and legacy.

This memorial will not only give friends and loved ones a place to reflect, but will also give CoHop's children a place to visit, remember, and stay connected to the father who loved them deeply. It’s a way to ensure his memory lives on, not just in stories and hearts, but in a space they can return to for strength and comfort.
