Help Us Honor Courtney Gomes' Memory

The Depont Family is seeking your kindness, generosity and support during this difficult, unfortunate time of need. Thursday January 30, 2025 Courtney Lynn Gomes passed away unexpectedly at home. She was a truly loving mother who had radiant soul and a unique tenacity for life. Courtney leaves behind her beautiful, strong and brave 14-year-old daughter Emily Depont.

The immense and irreplaceable love of her mother shines through Emily every day and forever will as she navigate this impossibly difficult time. Courtney was a source of emotional, financial and compassionate parental support throughout her daughter Emily’s life. They had a mother-daughter relationship unlike any other. This relationship provided Emily and Courtney the beautiful blend of trust and stability encompassed in a mother’s love that in turn created that essential and priceless bond; the bond in which gives your child the strength, resiliency and compassion in all times, good, bad and challenging throughout their life. This was one of Courtney’s many gifts she has given Emily in life and beyond.

Together we are hoping to help Emily Depont and her family with the costs associated with the funeral home, celebration of life and burial expenses. In addition, we are also hoping that any help be extended to assist in supporting Emily and her dad, Mark Depont, with the unforeseen expenses that both parents shared that now rest only upon Mark.
