La situación se ha vuelto difícil, y aunque el funeral estaba programado para hoy, hemos tenido que posponerlo hasta el 18 de septiembre de 2024 debido a razones económicas.

Hemos intentado convencer a mi tío de optar por la incineración, que es una opción más económica, pero él desea respetar el último deseo de mi tía Claudia, que era tener un funeral con el cuerpo presente.

Sometimes things don't go as expected, and at times, the help we need does not arrive in time. For this reason, I am reaching out once again to your generosity to request your financial support for my aunt's burial. The situation has become challenging, and although the funeral was scheduled for today, we had to postpone it to September 18, 2024, due to financial reasons.

We have tried to convince my uncle to opt for cremation, which is a more economical option, but he wishes to honor my aunt Claudia's final request to have a funeral with her body present.

With a heavy heart, I share that my beloved aunt, Claudia Kneen Cobena, passed away on August 18, 2024, after a courageous battle with an incurable and progressive illness. Though her life slowly slipped away, her spirit and love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Claudia was more than just a mother; she was the heart and soul of her family. A devoted and loving mother, she always put her children first, taking immense pride in their achievements and ensuring their well-being. As a wife, she brought loyalty, respect, joy, and laughter into their home, filling it with warmth and love.

She was truly one of a kind—spontaneous, deeply faithful, and someone who found joy in the simple things like singing, dancing, and reminiscing about her cherished Colombia. Her dog, Coco, was her faithful companion, bringing her comfort and joy, especially during her most challenging days. Claudia held onto the hope of seeing her children grow into professionals, but sadly, her illness took that dream away too soon.

As her condition worsened, the care she needed became constant and overwhelming. My uncle and cousin devoted themselves entirely to her, taking turns to provide the love and care she deserved, but it came at a significant financial cost. With their resources now depleted, we humbly reach out to anyone who feels moved to help us give Claudia the dignified farewell she deserves.

Con gran pesar, comparto que mi amada tía, Claudia Kneen Cobena, falleció el 18 de agosto de 2024, después de una valiente lucha contra una enfermedad incurable y progresiva. Aunque su vida se fue desvaneciendo poco a poco, su espíritu y amor dejaron una huella imborrable en todos los que la conocieron.

Claudia fue mucho más que una madre; ella era el corazón y el alma de su familia. Como madre, fue devota y amorosa, siempre poniendo a sus hijos en primer lugar, orgullosa de sus logros y siempre velando por su bienestar. Como esposa, aportó lealtad, respeto, alegría y risas a su hogar, llenándolo de calidez y amor.

Ella fue verdaderamente única—espontánea, con una fe profunda, y alguien que encontraba felicidad en las cosas simples como cantar, bailar y recordar con cariño su querida Colombia. Su perro, Coco, fue su fiel compañero, brindándole consuelo y alegría, especialmente durante sus días más difíciles. Claudia mantenía la esperanza de ver a sus hijos convertirse en profesionales, pero lamentablemente, su enfermedad le arrebató ese sueño demasiado pronto.
