On the morning of October 14th, 2025, our beloved Christopher Rangel Romo was tragically taken from us at just 22 years old. On his way to visit a friend, Chris was shot and killed on Linden Street — a sudden and heartbreaking loss that has left our family and community in deep grief.

Chris was so much more than what happened that day. He was a loving brother, son, grandson, cousin, nephew, uncle, and a loyal friend to many - but above all, he was a proud and loving father. His children were his whole world, and everything he did was for them. If you knew Chris, you knew his calming presence, his infectious laugh, and the way he could light up a room with his humor and kindness. He had a heart of gold and a protector’s spirit — a big teddy bear who would do anything for the people he loved.

Losing him so suddenly has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. We are asking for help to cover his funeral and memorial expenses, so we can give Chris the goodbye he deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, means more to us than words can express.

Anything left after funeral costs will go directly to support his children, who will carry his love and memory with them always.

En la mañana del 14 de octubre de 2025, nuestro amado Christopher Rangel Romo nos fue arrebatado trágicamente a tan solo 22 años de edad. Mientras se dirigía a visitar a un amigo, Chris fue asesinado a tiros en la calle Linden — una pérdida repentina y desgarradora que ha dejado a nuestra familia y a toda la comunidad con un profundo dolor.

Chris fue mucho más que lo que ocurrió ese día. Era un hermano, hijo, nieto, primo, sobrino, tío y amigo leal para muchos, pero sobre todo, un padre orgulloso y amoroso. Sus hijos eran su mundo entero, y todo lo que hacía era por ellos.

Quienes conocieron a Chris saben de su presencia tranquila, su risa contagiosa y la manera en que podía iluminar cualquier lugar con su humor y su bondad. Tenía un corazón de oro y el espíritu de un protector — un gran oso cariñoso que haría cualquier cosa por las personas que amaba.

Perderlo tan de repente ha dejado un vacío en nuestros corazones que jamás podrá llenarse. Estamos pidiendo ayuda para cubrir los gastos de su funeral y memorial, para poder darle a Chris la despedida que merece.
