I'm sorry to announce that Christopher Douglas Rothwell passed away suddenly in his sleep on October 22nd, 2024. As his surviving family, his funeral costs are up to us to handle, and we are unable to afford to put him to rest at this time. Two of us children are under 25 years old; my brother is currently a college student, and I recently lost my home to the floods from Hurricane Milton.

At the bare minimum, the funeral home is requesting an upfront payment of at least $2,900. In order to have a service, the price would range from $6-7k. Any funds our father had are currently going through probate, which can take 7-9 months before funds are released. We appreciate any contribution to honor the life of Christopher Douglas Rothwell. The money donated to this will determine the difference between a plastic urn, metal urn, and wooden urn.

Our father was a veteran and will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at no additional cost. Although there may not be a service for him, he would appreciate anyone who wants to visit him on their own time once he is laid to rest. Chris would love to be remembered by all of you who care about him, and we know he would feel extremely loved by each individual who visits him.
