We come to you with the heaviest hearts — I, Curtis Vance Jr., and my brother, Andrew Vance — the sons of an amazing woman, Chela Vance.

Yesterday, August 12th, 2025, our world changed forever — we lost our beautiful mom. It was sudden, it was heartbreaking, and we’re still trying to wrap our heads around it.

Chela was so much more than a mother — she was the light in every room, the person who made everyone feel like family from the moment you met her, and she gave unconditional love. Her energy, her laughter, and her love touched so many people in ways we’ll never forget.

Now, as we try to cope with this unimaginable loss, we’re also trying to find a way to give her the beautiful farewell she so deeply deserves. If you’re able to help in any way — no matter the amount — it would mean the world to us.
