Help Us Honor Villin’s (Chanthoeun) Legacy

Hi everyone. My name is Chanrachana but some of you may know me by Rachana or Lilo. Please provide me with Grace as I typically prefer not to speak in the past tense.

On January 30th, 2025, heaven gained an angel and this earth lost a beautiful gem, my older brother, bong Thoeun also known as Chanthoeun Heng (some of you may know him by Dad, Brother, Cousin, Friend, Chan, Thoeun, Villin, etc.) My brother, an amazing father, supportive friend and reliable soul. A smile that can light up the darkest room and the most contagious laugh that can power the nation. Bong Thoeun absolutely loves his son, Jordan, family and friends. If you just met him or have known each other for 10 years, he’s someone that wants to see you win and if he’s able to help in anyway, then he’ll do his best to be there. His bright aura has left an imprint on everyone’s life that will forever remain within our love for him. All of his friends have turned into family and that’s just how it’s always been! You need help with fixing your car? He’ll be there. You need help with moving? He’ll be there. You need an open ear? He’ll be there. Your birthday party? Or your kids, parents, grandparents, birthday? What about graduation? School sports games? He’ll be THERE! From kids all the way to grandparents, everyone loves his heart! Bong Thoeun to me is someone that I’ve looked up to my whole life. He’s someone that knows how to make me laugh, feel loved and I can just be myself around. He’s protective and only ever wants the best for his loved ones.

I remember one time in high school when I needed a ride and he was willing to take me as long as I remember to remote start his car in neutral. If you know, you know! Welp! one morning I was rushing and forgot to take the shift knob out of first gear and sure enough it jerked forward and the car turned off. (Oppsie!! ) Thankfully after a tearful confession, he forgave me because he saw I learned my lesson on not to rush. because listennnnnn…. otherwise I would have just ran to school at that point! Haha

Above everything else, bong Thoeun absolutely love and adore his son, Jordan. Jordan we can’t believe you are going to graduate high school this year! My brother told me “if there’s one thing I did right, it’s Jordan!” And that being said in the most loving, proud and endearing voice! You are an amazing and smart young man, Jordan! Our huge family will make sure you’re supported and loved, forever and always!
