Help Us Honor & Celebrate Maggie’s Life & Legacy

It is with shattered hearts that we share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Maggie. She passed away unexpectedly on the morning of May 8th, 2025, while in Costa Rica on what was meant to be a joyful birthday family trip.

What was supposed to be a time of celebration has turned into an unimaginable heartbreak. We found ourselves in a remote area of Central America, with limited access to resources or support—trying to navigate the unthinkable.

Maggie was a beautiful light in all of our lives. She was a devoted mother to her miracle baby boy, whose smile lit up at the sight of her. She was a daughter, sister, cousin, niece, granddaughter, and the most fun and loving “Tita” her nephews and niece could ever have. She was a friend who made you laugh, made you feel seen, and made life sweeter just by being in it.

Now, we are faced with the overwhelming task of bringing her home to the U.S. and giving her the peaceful farewell she deserves. Repatriation, funeral arrangements, and burial costs are more than our family can bear alone.
