Hi, my name is Selena Shropshire, and I'm reaching out during one of the hardest moments our family has faced.

On July 19, 2025, we lost my brother, Brandon Mashburn, at just 35 years old. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and while his life was not without struggle, he was deeply loved.

Brandon battled addiction for many years—a painful journey that cost him time with his sons, Zavior and Sage, and created deep challenges in his life. But anyone who truly knew him saw more than his addiction. They saw his humor, his intelligence, his tenderness, and the heart that always longed for healing and peace.

His story was complicated, like so many others walking through pain—but he was not lost to us. He was our brother, our son, our friend. And he mattered.

We are now trying to raise funds to cover his funeral expenses, so we can lay him to rest with dignity, and surround his memory with the love he always deserved.
