I am raising money to help with funeral expenses for my dad. This is my dad Benny. He is 74 years old, and about 4 months ago, he began having this really bad cough. As the months passed, his cough only worsened. In July, my dad went to the hospital to finally take care of his cough. It turns out he had a blood clot in his lung, but the blood clot was not alone. In the same lung, they noticed a mass. So, we made an appointment to get a consultation to have a biopsy, which was scheduled for less than a week later.

Yesterday, September 3, I brought my dad in for his biopsy; however, his breathing and health had declined over the last 5 days, and instead of a biopsy, he has been admitted to the hospital with stage 4 terminal lung cancer. As of today, we have decided to take him home on hospice so he can spend whatever time he has left with his family. Because his cancer has been so aggressive and grown so rapidly, me and my family need help putting him to rest.

My dad has always been my number one supporter. He has always taken care of me from the day they brought me home. Even as an adult, I could always turn to him for help, comfort, or just an ear, and it kills me that this is happening to him. He has 8 grandchildren who love him and are having a hard time.
